🐾 A Life With Animals

Before Sitting Fish, I spent years pet sitting, gaining experience with animals and learning how different every animal can be.

I also spent several years working with equine therapy, where I learned even more about horses, their behavior, and the relationships people can build with animals.

Today, I also volunteer at my local animal shelter, continuing to spend time with animals who need patience, care, and a little extra attention.

💙 Why Sitting Fish?

I started Sitting Fish because I wanted work that could fit around my schedule while allowing me to keep doing something I love.

But I also wanted to create something different from the typical pet-sitting business.

Animals aren't interchangeable. A dog isn't a cat, a horse isn't a rat, and a bee certainly isn't a dog!

Every animal has their own personality, routine, preferences, and needs. I believe good animal care starts with paying attention to those differences.

🌊 Always Willing to Learn

I don't claim to know everything about every animal. No one does!

If I encounter an animal I've never cared for before, I'm willing to learn about their needs, behavior, environment, and routine so I can provide responsible care.

That's part of what makes Sitting Fish what it is.
